Anthony Scarpaci
Major: Business
Anthony Scarpaci is a blues-based guitar player initially from Glenview, Illinois. He first picked up the guitar at age 14 when he thought he would be the next Dave Mustaine. Then, magically, he fell into a record by B.B. King called "My Kind Of Blues." It was there where he realized the one note B.B. King could play over a few measures meant a hell of a lot more than the million Mr. Mustaine could play in the same amount of time. The rest, as they say, is history. What Anthony lacks in finesse, he makes up in soul. Check him out.
Top Influences:
B.B. King, Freddie King, Buddy Guy, Son House, Skip James, Peter Green, Derek Trucks, Jimi Hendrix, Robert Johnson, Big Bill Broonzy, Junior Kimbrough, Tommy Emmanuel, and Bill Frisell.
