Emily Peters

For as long as she can remember, music has been the main focus of Emily Peters's life. She's been singing since she could talk, and began to play piano by ear as a young girl. Her talent was soon recognized as she began leading church services at her elementary school. At the age of 15 Emily composed her first song, which she later entered into a national songwriting competition; it ranked in the top 10. From that moment on she never looked back. She quickly began teaching herself guitar, writing songs, and performing at local venues. She's currently a student at Indiana University, majoring in Journalism, minoring in music or photography and continuing to pursue her passion as a singer/songwriter.
