Nick Caputo
Major: Business Management
I am Nick Caputo from Hillsborough, New Jersey a pretty nice suburban town. I have been playing guitar for two years, and have been writing songs for one. I do mainly acoustic pop rock and really focus on making songs catchy and simpler rather than crazy and out of control. I use a Fender acoustic electric for pretty much everything I do. I am a solo performer and try to do as many open mics and shows as possible, because I love playing out. I have 12 originial songs, and I want to to start working on recording them for an album and getting all of them copyrighted so I can sell them and give them away to get my name out. Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson are my biggest influences in writing, but I feel like my voice gives me a unique sound.
I am a freshman at Indiana and record things on garage band, but have always wanted to actually try out a studio. My major is business management, and I am working to transfer into Kelley next year. My mom, and grandfather went to Indiana, so I have always wanted to go here. It's my dream to hear one of my songs on the radio.
